TAKE ME, COWBOY by Maisey Yates

Review by Amanda

Maisey Yates doesn’t disappoint in Take Me, Cowboy. Her skills at creating broken characters with deep emotions combined with unique writing adds steady pace to her intense and drama riddled Desire novel. The two main characters were hilarious at times though under pressure they pushed themselves beyond the limit to reach their inner and outward goals. Anna is a character full of courage and strength though beneath her tough outward tomboyish persona lingers a delicate vulnerability that is realistically portrayed. Chase is fan-yourself-hot and he just jumps out at you from the pages. I smiled more than once when he and Anna exchanges banter. The way in which Ms. Yates brings Chase and Anna together from the onset balanced the story out and gave me something to cheer about. I only wanted them to reach their HEA because the both deserve it and of course Maisey Yates made sure they had to work hard to achieve it. Overall, Take Me, Cowboy is an entertaining addition to the Copper Ridge series. I look forward to reading more books from this author!
